MESSAGE FROM OUR CHAIRMAN AND CEO

Bobby A. McRae Jr.

Effectiveness and efficiency follow MMCS’ endeavor to take a leadership role.

Bobby A. McRae Jr.,M.S.

Chairman and CEO

Welcome to our website. MMCS is investing resources and staff in order to extend new programs for children and youth into the Philadelphia area. Our core mission is to provide community support services, which will build lasting relationships. MMCS endeavors to provide children and youth with the opportunity to acquire and maintain skills which will enable them to become assets to their community.

We recognize the increasing needs of children. Our strategy is to teach children and youth academic skills such as maintaining focus, organization and disciplined study. Additionally, we will implement programs which will make a commitment to improve the quality of the lives of the children and youth through teaching them how to define their goals, break each goal down into manageable steps, and regularly checking on the progress made towards the goal. This will give participants the opportunity to make choices concerning their lives and the quality of their experiences.  They will also be taught effective skills for managing their lives examining the difficulties that they experience, and assessing how they contribute to the difficulties and reevaluating their actions. In short, we teach our children and youth that they can control their destinies.

To provide the funds necessary to implement the programs for MMCS, we will be holding our 1st Annual Changing Tomorrow, Today Fundraising Gala featuring a silent auction of signed NFL memorabilia with Hank Poteat of the New York Jets and other key NFL players as supporters of our mission.

Providing community support is the foundation on which MMCS was established. MMCS is endeavoring to take a leadership role within the community to change the lives for the children and youth of today. As MMCS looks into the future, we plan to lead Philadelphia in delivering our services with caring, effectiveness and efficiency.“Changing Tomorrow, Today”
